I joined Storm in 2006 as an Account Manager, I am so proud to be part of the Storm family, as, for me, it is all about the people. I have worked with some of the best people in the industry over my years at Storm, who I am proud to call my friends. We work hard to provide our clients with reliable & sustainable service & the reason that my clients have stayed with me for so long, is because of the flexibility that Storm gives me to exceed their expectations and grow together. Entering the world of IT can be daunting as it’s vast and continually changing. Coming into Storm I had very little IT knowledge, but the extensive training and lines of support have made it a comfortable transition into the industry. Beyond this, the rewards for working at Storm are extensive. Not only from a monetary point of view where the opportunity to earn big amounts of money is possible and tangible, but also socially. There are frequent nights out, several sports teams and fun vendor days making the work experience that much more enjoyable and unpredictable

When I joined the business, I had no previous IT or software knowledge, so it was a daunting prospect, coming into an established team to help support them and help grow that business. The training and support I received was fantastic and without that initial grounding, I wouldn’t be in the position I am today. Throughout this journey I have built out and established the now existing Solutions division and look forward to growing this further with new ideas and people. None of this career progression would have been possible without support from my teams and the Storm Management team. Storm is a great company for someone that is willing to work hard, build strong relationships and grow their own business portfolio. I began my sales career on the Graduate programme, starting with excellent training to introduce me to the industry, and then I was given the opportunity to onboard my own customers straight away, all whilst receiving support and guidance from everyone within the company. Storm also emphasises the importance of socialising with your colleagues, through team nights out and regular sports events, as well as focusing on wellbeing with Mindfulness courses, frequent exercise classes and our weekly Wellness Wednesday.
